Do you still remember the time
When jingles of ads we used to mime?

 When Cadbury and Nestle were the only brands we knew
 When friends were many and worries were few

 When love was strong and jealousy was less
 When happiness meant only a new dress

 When TV was big but programs were limited
 When playgrounds were full with boys playing cricket

Why are those days just a distant memory?
 Why couldn't we hold back our days of glory?

 This is the time when we want to live life king size
It doesn't matter anymore if we are being wise

 Gucci Armani Prada & Louis Vuitton
Are just household names for fashion

 Bigger houses, luxury cars
In just a few years people will live in Mars

Have we ever pondered why this happened?
Or are we too engulfed into this and frightened

 Peer pressure and contest among friends
 Causing us to miss out on life's zest

We may have changed a lot
But the child in us still plays with paper boats

 Wish life would have been simpler
And going back to childhood was easier!!
